Winter sizing case is used to size room heating units and this is normally done for the situation when there are no internal loads present (that provide extra heat).
The winter scenario should not be used to check for potential overheating situations during winter months. They will be automatically detected by the Summer sizing case, which checks all months, not just summer. The words "summer" and "winter" in the dialog may be a bit misleading. It could just as well say "cooling" and "heating".
